First post for 2018

Welcome to 2018 sorry about the late start we have been really busy in room 2.
Room 2 consists of 15 tino ataahua tamariki they are Year 2 and Year 3 tamariki.

On the 5th February we went to Waitangi as we were learning about the Treat of Waitangi.

We wanted to see where the treaty was signed.

First we got ready to go on  the bus.
We drove to Waitangi we had to get off the bus and line up so we could meet our guides.

Our guide was Whaea Roylena.

Showed us this picture of Ngatokimatawhaorua, we had a photo with it.
Can you see the man standing up at the back that is Whaea Shiralee's dad.
